In fact, I can't stand watching "regular" tv anymore and if I have the option between my non-HD channels and my HD channels, I'm watching "Desperate Housewives" in hi-def. As for cartoons, they look much sharper and clearer in HD. I'm not going out to by new versions of any cartoons I already own (but it is harder to watch my Beauty and the Beast VHS tape since I don't own a VHS player any more!).
