A judge will decide the details if she's found guilty (see above regarding her lawyers' take on it.) My take on it is that her celebrity status shouldn't get her any special treatment. That works both ways: No "Get out of jail free" card, but also no unusually harsh punishment either. That means I spend an awful lot of time listening to radio. Otherwise, I'd have probably managed to avoid this story too. (Unfortunately, web surfing and reading the paper don't work when you're driving.) Considering how closely this follows the Paris Hilton affair, it seems that Ms. Lohan has been a good deal more successful at missing the celebrity news. This was one of those things where I was listening to the story and more than half expecting the morning air personality to make the Paris Hilton joke. I’ve learned how to avoid the celebrity news. I get all my news from Google, and only click on the news stories that interest me.
