		<description>They're just putting it out of its misery. Even before Royal Ahold put the Stop 'n Shop management in control of Giant-Landover, Fox Chapel was in trouble. 

When my sister was a teenager, she had an aquarium with tropical fish. The X-Ray Catfish used to get picked on by the other fish. They didn't have the decency to just kill it; they'd take little nips out of its fins. 

It was like that with the Fox Chapel Giant. They'd close the fish counter. They left customer service entirely to the store managers, so customers had to wait around for help.

The property management hasn't done a great job attracting tenants for the shopping center, either, but I think it's the sale of the trailer parks to developers that was the final nail in the store's coffin.</description>
