My problem/concern with it is that most super hero movies are “origin stories” and follow the same story arc:

- Something dramatic happens to the protagonist, causing him (or her, but frequently him) to develop super powers.
- The hero finds some great satisfaction in his powers.
- Something happens to the hero, triggering a crisis of confidence.
- Through a great struggle, the hero regains his confidence and decides that “heroing” is his calling.

It’s a very familiar theme, but frequently not very entertaining.

That being said, I’ve heard nothing but good about Iron Man. Only problem is, because I’ve been putting off seeing it for so long, it’s no longer playing in any local theaters.
