You're right, it wasn't a great movie. But it was still a worthwhile movie. The cautionary tale about e-voting was timely (and I can think of a realistic implementation with the potential for that problem), but Tom Dobbs' points about a great many things were also important.

"I support hydrogen cars... "
"That's weird, because you're backed by oil companies."

"How can you take millions of dollars from special interests and not owe someone something in return?"

"Weapons of Mass Distraction."

And so on. It's not a great movie, but it is a good one. Definitely worth watching before November 6.

GWB has been speaking, but no one's paid any attention. He's off the radar, and not hitting any higher than Page Six.

I saw "Man of the Year." Not a bad movie, but not a great one either. It couldn't decide what it wanted to be: comedy, commentary, or drama -- but the debate scene alone was worth the price of the rental.

Come to think of it, we had a coupon for a free rental.

They both bite. It just depends on how bad they bite and what type of rabies you prefer. I'm pretty ticked over the past few years too and this last week certainly has been a roller coaster for the economy. Since the presidential candidates are speaking out about this mess, where's GEORGE?
